WEST COVINA -- A controversial provision of Assembly Bill 1127 that caused business to dub the legislation the "Employer Guilty Until Proven Innocent Act" has been deleted from the bill by the Senate Industrial Relations Committee.Other amendments include the scrubbing of an equally controversial provision that safety managers feared would hold them personally responsible for violations, and that of a redefinition of the term "serious physical harm."
