Feds Push Back Recordkeeping Proposal

Federal OSHA will not publish the final version of the much-anticipated revisions to its recordkeeping regulations by July 1, as it had originally planned. Instead, the Feds intend to publish the revisions "no later than year end, 2000," with an effective date of Jan. 1, 2002.The implementation date is significant, in that it will give Cal/OSHA a full year to adopt the regulations, instead of the normal six months.
