SAN FRANCISCO - Fed-OSHA has reopened the rulemaking record on methylene chloride (MC), a probable human carcinogen that is widely used as an industrial solvent. The rule was originally proposed in 1991. Two informal public hearings were held, including one in San Francisco October 14-16, 1992.
