Four California workers are killed in early August incidents when they come in contact with vehicles or equipment. They include a janitorial worker crushed between an elevator and a barricade, a mechanic caught between the bed and frame of a dump truck, a landscape worker killed by a runaway truck and an engineer hit by a front-end loader.
