SAN FRANCISCO - Two COR readers have expressed concern over the general contractor's having been held liable in civil court for injuries a carpenter suffered (Whitford v. Swinerton & Walberg, NEWS p. 00-6235).One reader asked whether there was a way a general could limit its exposure to liability, either under Cal-OSHA or tort law.
