PALO ALTO - Cal-OSHA has issued an updated list of industries in California, by SIC, with lost workday (LWD) case incidence rates greater than 175% above the private industry average of 3.7 total lost workdays. The High Hazard Employer Program seeks out employers within those SICs. The new list is based on the 1995 Division of Labor Statistics and Research Report of Nonfatal Occupational Injuries and Illnesses by SIC Code that was published in early 1997.Three entries are new to the list.
