Labor Will Ask Court to Order an Ergonomics Standard

SAN FRANCISCO - On January 10, the labor coalition that has been arguing for an ergonomics standard for years decided to file a legal challenge based on the Cal-OSH Standards Board's failure to adopt a standard by January 1, 1995, in spite of a legislative mandate to do so.
