Lone Star State Experiences Spike In Workplace Deaths

The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation has released statistics showing that the state recorded a 12.5 percent increase in work-related fatalities in 2005. A total of 495 fatal occupational injuries occurred last year, compared to 440 in 2004.
