The Cal/OSH Standards Board has appointed Michael Manieri as Principal Safety Engineer. He replaces Mel Davis, who retired at the end of May. Manieri has been serving as senior engineer for standards. In his new position, he will provide safety engineering consulting services to the board regarding variances, petitions and standards.
