News From Fed-OSHA – Feds Draft Proposed Safety and Health Program Rule

SALINAS -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has finally issued a draft of a proposed rule that would require the nation's 6.5 million workplaces to implement a basic, fundamental safety and health program.The rule would require that workplaces have programs appropriate to their specific conditions. Core elements of each program would include management leadership and employee participation; hazard identification and assessment; hazard prevention and control; information and traini
