Nurses to Standards Board: Safe Lifting Rules are Good, but Need Improvement

A new standard implementing a new law requiring safe-patient handling procedures in hospitals has a lot of promise, nurses told the Cal/OSHA Standards Board, but needs some patching up. Here's what they had to say at a recent public hearing.
