SACRAMENTO - General Industry 5110 for ergonomics was approved on April 17 by a four to two vote toward the end of a very long meeting of the Cal-OSH Standards Board. The dissenters were the two labor representatives, Kenneth Young and John Foster. Before the vote, Young said he objected strenuously to the definition of "identical work activity" in subsection (a)(2).
