OSH Bills Approved in Committee

A number of occupational safety and health-related bills were approved by legislative committees recently, including legislation requiring employers to establish heat illness prevention programs.The heat illess bill, AB 805 by Assemblywoman Judy Chu (D-Monterey Park), was approved by the Assembly Labor and Employment committee, 6-2.
