OAKLAND -- A number of bills have surfaced in recent weeks in the state Legislature related to occupational safety and health. Following is a synopsis of the legislation:AB 643, introduced by Assemblyman Gene Mullin (D-San Mateo) is another attempt to reform the way appointments are made to the Cal/OSH Standards Board.
