OSHA Proposes Written Verification of Abatement

LOS ANGELES - Fed-OSHA has proposed an abatement verification program that would require cited employers (who either did not appeal or whose case was closed after appeal) to verify abatement of the cited hazard to the nearest OSHA area director (AD) and affix tags on cited equipment until abatement is completed.
