Pg&E Settles a Penal Code 387 Case

BURBANK - The Amador County District Attorney's office on May 7 announced the settlement by civil compromise of four criminal misdemeanor charges filed against Pacific Gas & Electric involving the death of one worker and the injury of another. PG&E will pay $99,250 - $9,250 to the state general fund for citations Cal-OSHA issued and $90,000 to the county, to be distributed by the D.A.'s office.The case involved the death of Dennis Olson, 41, in 1996.
