Schwarzenegger has signed AB 186, extending Cal/OSHA penalty refunds to police and firefighters.Under the legislation, law enforcement and firefighting agencies cited by the Division of Occupational Safety and Health for workplace violations can apply for a refund of monetary penalties as long as they abate the violative condition(s).
