Quick Work at Standards Board’s Final 1999 Session; Two Revisions Adopted

SACRAMENTO -- In its final meeting of the 1990s, the Cal/OSH Standards Board took care of its final business for the year in quick order. The board met Dec. 16 at the State Resources Building here, conducting a public hearing on a proposed revision to Title 8 safety orders, adopting two previously heard proposals, denying a petition and granting several variances, all within about about half an hour.
