Roofer Cited for Worker’s Death — DOSH Says He Was Doing Framing Activity

A Cal/OSHA investigator didn't think he could justify an accident-related citation in the 2013 death of a roofer who fell 17 feet. But the investigation concluded that the employee was performing work that wasn't technically roofing, so the employer now faces serious violations and almost $40,000 in fines.
