The City of Sacramento is seeking a qualified safety officer to supervise the activities of the Safety Section of the Human Resources Department's Safety and Risk Management Section. The position plans and directs a citywide program of accident prevention, safety education, and loss control. Duties also include ensuring compliance with all federal and state industrial safety codes, regulations and standards, and conducting inquiries into accidents involving city equipment and facilities.
