SACRAMENTO -- The Safety Center, Inc., honored occupational safety and health professionals in the food and beverage industries for their efforts to prevent injuries and illnesses in their organizations.John Allison, safety and security manager for the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in St. Helena, was named safety professional of the year by the center. And the safety team at Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Fairfield was the recipient of the Chairman's Award of Merit.
