San Francisco Opera Cited for Alleged Willful/Serious Violation After Fall

Following an incident this summer that left a stagehand with serious injuries, the San Francisco Opera Association has been cited by the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) for an alleged willful and serious safety order violation.The citation comes with a proposed penalty of $70,000. DOSH also cited the opera company for an alleged serious violation for not providing workers with head protection and an alleged general violation involving its Injury and Illness Prevention
