Senate Ir Passes Sanitation Bill

SACRAMENTO - On April 20, the Senate Industrial Relations Committee voted 4-0 for SB 1689, a tough bill by Santa Barbara Democrat Gary Hart that would require that agricultural field sanitation facilities required by Cal-OSHA be registered with the local county health officer or other appropriate officer.
