Standards Board Terminates Action on Rebar Proposal – Will Go to Committee

The Cal/OSH Standards Board's staff will terminate its rulemaking action on Construction Safety Orders 1712(a) and (e) and instead send the proposal to an advisory committee that is planned for other 1712 matters. A public hear-ing was held on the proposed revisions in January and a number of commen-ters raised objections or questions regard-ing portions of the package. The regul-ation covers the hazards associated with
