SACRAMENTO -- After he announced his intention to retire several months ago, John MacLeod, the Cal/OSH Standards Board's executive officer, noted that he planned to become a regular visitor to his ancestral home of Scotland.But, as well-wishers joked at a banquet capping his last day of work on March 27, he may have to spend some time constructing a new wall at his home to hold the plaques and proclamations presented in his honor.
