In the middle of an arraignment proceeding where jumpsuit-clad defendants shuffled in and out of the courtroom, pleading to charges of public drunkenness, spousal abuse and check-kiting, an executive, dressed sharply in a business suit, strode before the bench and pled guilty to charges brought after one of his workers died last year.
