Three Workers Burned in Los Angeles Electrical Arc Incident

They were helping to decommission an old telephone book printing plant and thought cabling in an electrical room was deenergized. But two workers and a supervisor got a nasty surprise May 26 when they went to remove the cable and instead were engulfed in a burst of high-voltage energy. Cal/OSHA is investigating.
