SAN FRANCISCO - The Environmental Protection Agency, pursuant to a request from its office of mobile airborne sources, has updated a 1985 document that estimated the risk of cancer due to inhalation of benzene. This is less an occupational issue than an environmental issue. However, OSHA's Peter Infante was among those present at a peer review workshop held in July, as were representatives of the American Petroleum Institute.
