SACRAMENTO -- The California Department of Health Services' Occupational Health Branch (OHB) is alerting California workers, employers, unions and health professionals about special risk to outdoor workers from West Nile Virus.As we reported in our Aug. 6 issue (p. 8264), the virus hit the Golden State earlier this year and has claimed a number of lives already, primarily older adults.
