Willful/Serious Charge, – Almost 100 Grand in Penalties Against Construction Company

California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) has charged a Whittier contractor with several alleged serious violations, including a willful/serious, in the Aug. 11, 2004, death of an ironworker who fell more than 50 feet through a deck opening.The Division also proposed $99,900 in penalties in the case against C.A.S. Construction, Inc. The company has appealed the citations.The most serious charge is an alleged willful/serious violation of Construction Safety Order
