Women in Public Sector at Greatest Risk of Workplace Violence

NORWALK, CA - Women in social service --- welfare, education, health care --- are at serious risk of assault on the job, according to a study by the Center for Women in Government at the State University of New York in Albany. About 260,000 women are victims of workplace rapes, beatings and other forms of violence each year, the researchers said.
