Worker Dies Almost Two Months After Suffering – 38-Foot Roof Fall

SACRAMENTO -- A 57-year-old fruit packer died July 28 after being hospitalized a second time following a 38-foot fall from a roof he was assigned to work on.Trinidad Farfan, an employee of Elwin R. Mann, Inc., fell June 7 while scraping paint off the wall of his employer's building in Watsonville. Farfan had climbed onto the roof to perform the task and sustained traumatic bodily injuries in the fall.
