Workers Press Standards Board for Ergonomics Help

LOS ANGELES -- All has been quiet on the ergonomics regulatory front in California. An advisory committee convened to consider proposals put forward by the California Labor Federation and Cal/OSHA last met in May and even though another committee meeting has been authorized, it doesn't appear it will happen soon. The two regulatory proposals under consideration are all but dead in the water, much to the glee of employer groups and the consternation of organized labor.
