Guarding, at Point of Operation, Machinery Not Covered. The appeal was denied and the citation alleging a serious violation of 8 CAC Section 4185(b) with a penalty of $750 was affirmed.

An employee was injured by an unguarded 15 ton rated brake press. The press was foot operated and not guarded at the point of operation. Appellant was found in violation of the code section as it existed at the time of the inspection May 24, 1974.
