Floor Roof and Wall Openings to be Guarded---Guard Rails on Open Side 7 1/2 Feet Above Grade. The appeal from two of three alleged nonserious violations of 8 Cal. Adm. Code was denied and the violations affirmed. The proposed $270 civil penalty was affirmed.
Appellant, the general contractor at the construction site, was in violation of a safety order requiring that floor openings through which men or materials might fall be guarded, where five or six uncovered openings about two feet square existed in a concrete slab floor.
