This appeal was denied. A regulatory violation of 5208 (l)(2) (reporting asbestos) and a serious violation of 5208 (g)(1)(A) (air sampling) were affirmed. Proposed penalties of $1,500 were reduced to $1,000.
Employer manufactured radomes and small plastic insignia. The Division observed 96 bags of powdery material which contained 90% asbestos fiber material. Four of the bags were opened.
