The Appeals Board affirmed in part and reversed in part the ALJ decision of May 26, 1983 (Digest 15,449). The Board granted the appeal from an alleged willful/regulatory violation of the asbestos safety orders; reduced another asbestos violation from willful/serious to serious and modified the proposed penalty from $9,000 to $1,000; and reduced a third from willful/serious to willful/general, with proposed penalty modification from $9,000 to $500.
