Digest of COSHAB's Decision After Reconsideration dated February 25, 1987, Docket Nos. 85-R1D5-825 and 826. Elaine W. Donaldson, Chairman; L. A. Harrington and Michael R. Monagan, Members.

The Appeals Board affirmed the ALJ decision of April 26, 1986 (Digest 16,583), denying Employer's appeals of two violations:

1540(g)(2) (excavations); general violation. Employer was cited for not providing a safe means of access, requiring no more than 25 feet of lateral travel, from trenches four feet or more deep.
