On penalty-only appeals of two serious violations, penalties of $750 each were affirmed.
The violations were of 4307(c) (circular saws) and 3657(a)(3) (elevating employees with lift trucks). The first involved use of a circular saw with the guard for the lower part of the blade blocked. The other violation involved an employee elevated 14 feet above ground level on a forklift without a platform and guardrails.
