An alleged serious violation of 5432(a) (electrical and other sources of ignition) was reduced to general, eliminating a proposed $175 penalty.

An employee received third-degree burns on his hands and arms when gasoline spilled on the hand-held drop light he was using while he tried to replace the sending unit in a fuel tank. The drop light contained an ordinary, "unapproved" 60-watt incandescent bulb, hot enough to ignite gasoline.
