Digest of COSHAB's Decision After Reconsideration dated November 15, 1990, Docket No. 90-R3D1-235. Elaine W. Donaldson, Chairman; Michael R. Monagan, Member.

The Appeals Board affirmed the ALJ decision dated July 17, 1990 (Digest 17,443) denying Employer's appeal from a general violation of 5155(e)(1) (airborne contaminants).

The Division established that Employer failed to monitor employees' work environment for airborne contaminants when it was "reasonable to suspect" employees might be exposed to a contaminant (carbon monoxide) exceeding permissible exposure levels (PEL).
