The Board denied Employer's petition to reconsider an order denying a late appeal.
Appeal, Late Filing. Employer was inspected and cited for a serious violation with a $750 proposed penalty at its worksite at a Macy's store. It filed an appeal 14 days past the filing deadline. The Board offered Employer an opportunity to explain the late filing and Employer responded by letter, but the Board subsequently issued an Order Denying Late Appeal. Employer then filed a petition for reconsideration.
