EXCAVATIONS - PROTECTION FROM CAVE-INS

CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, 1541.1(a)(1) (2001) - Employer permitted two employees to work in an excavation that did not have sufficient cave-in protection. The violation was serious, based on its plain-view condition and the serious harm potential from a cave-in.
