MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT - DE-ENERGIZING BEFORE CLEANING

CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, 3314(a) (2001) - Employer's power roller machine was subject to the requirement to de-energize before cleaning, or to provide extension tools and training if the machine had to be running during cleaning. Resurfacing the rollers was a two-step process that came under the heading of cleaning.
