PENALTIES - SERIOUS VIOLATION CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY
LAB. § 6319(d) (2002) - The $12,600 penalty proposed for a serious violation that caused a serious injury was properly computed and presumptively reasonable. Employer offered no evidence to rebut its reasonableness, or to warrant further reduction other that that allowed by the Labor Code for size of the employer's work force.
