CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, § 3203(a)(7) (2002) - The Appeals Board agreed with the ALJ's decision that Employer committed a serious violation when it failed to properly train an employee in cutting meat with a meat saw. The employee suffered an amputation. The serious, accident-related violation and $18,000 penalty were affirmed by the Board.
