MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT - MECHANICALLY BLOCKING OUT TO PREVENT INADVERTENT MOVEMENT
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3314(a) (2004) - A violation was established where a blower's components were not blocked out to prevent inadvertent movement during repairs after the power was de-energized and locked out. The serious classification was found not appropriate because the Division did not prove that this failure would, to a substantial probability, result in serious physical harm.
