EMPLOYER - ESTABLISHING STATUS AS
An employment relationship was established where a person doing construction work for a homeowner brought in another worker at times to assist him. The first worker assigned tasks and paid the second worker, passing along instructions and payment he received from the homeowner. It was immaterial that neither man had a contractor's license.
