JURISDICTION – EMPLOYER STATUS Labor Code §§ 2750.5, 6304.1(a) (2014) – Employer was the “employer” of at least one worker on a scaffold and was subject to the cited safety orders. The Board rejected its argument that no employer-employee relationship existed.
SCAFFOLDS – TOWER SCAFFOLDS AND ROLLING SCAFFOLDS, WOOD OR METAL Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1646(a) (2014) – The Division established that two employees were working on a rolling scaffold of 26 feet in height that was not tied or secured to the building.
