FALL PROTECTION - STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8 § 1710(m)(2) (2012) - The safety order applied to ironworkers attaching steel decking to the steel I-beams of a building, work that was “other than connecting.” Employer violated the safety order by allowing its employees to work without personal fall protection while exposed to falls of more than 15 feet. The serious classification was correct.
